RICHARD'S OWN MIDDLE-GEORGIA STYLE LASAGNA

WARNING: THIS ISN'T ANYBODY'S DIET DISH.  IT IS FOR A PARTY AND A CROWD.

RICHARD'S MIDDLE-GEORGIA LASAGNA

12 oz package No-Boil Lasagna noodles
2 cups Georgia-style Pimiento cheese spread
2 cups Shredded Mozarella cheese
1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 eggs
2 26 oz jars white (or tomato) pasta sauce
½ lb cooked and drained ground pork
½ lb Johnsonville sweet sausage cooked and drained, remove casings
½ cup crisp bacon bits

Preheat oven to 350. In medium bowl, combine Pimiento Cheese, 1 cup Mozaarella,
½ cup Parmesan, cheese and eggs. In another bowl mix the pork and sausage, then add pasta sauce and combine

In a 9 x 13 pan spread 1c cup of the meat sauce. Place 1/3 of the lasagna noodles over sauce. Spread half of the cheese mixture over the noodles, top with 1/3 of the meat sauce and ½ of the bacon bits.. Repeat with another layer of noodles then add remaining Pimiento, then half of the meat sauce. Top with a final layer noodles and meat sauce and sprinkle remaining half of bacon bits. Cover and bake 1 hour. Then sprinkle with reserved Mozzarella and Parmesan and bake an additional 5 minutes.

Receive praise. Serves 9 to 12 people.
