CRANBERRY CHUTNEY RELISH- Wonderful!


I've had this recipe for years and used it just as many times. It is always a big hit.

CRANBERRY CHUTNEY RELISH
1 16-oz pkg fresh cranberries
1 c water

1 c raisins
I chopped medium apple

1 tsp ginger

2 c. sugar

1 c orange juice

1 c chopped celery

1 c chopped pecans


In a 3-quart pan over medium heat, heat cranberries, sugar and 1 c water to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low, simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate. You can make this one day to one week before you need it.
