RICHARD MAKES THE SWITCH

Ok, this is the final Birthday posting... It was a wonderful dinner party at my favorite restaurant, MARGARET'S CANTINA IN CHAPEL HILL, NC. All my nearest and dearest were there. When they brought out the luscious chocolate cake (Vegan, no eggs!) there were four sparkler things and the two in the middle had the numbers 6 and 5 - indicating the ugly truth of my age. SHUT UP.

When they sat the cake down in front of me and began to sing, I had the inspiration to SWITCH the middle two sparklers. So you can see the effect. A complete lie, but it made me happy.

What made me most happy is making it this far in life with such wonderful friends at my side. I am truly a blest man.
