BETTE DAVIS: "IT'S 1852 DUMPLIN'!"

(Bette Davis as Julie Marsden in "Jezebel")

On this date in 1939, Bette Davis, history's finest screen actress won her second Academy Award for "Jezebel" which also starred Henry Fonda and Fay Bainter (who won the Best Supporting Actress Award also).

They don't make 'em like that anymore.
