BE IT EVER SO HUMBLE, THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

19 Market Street, Charleston, SC

As they say in the movies, I am a "Bastard Out Of Carolina". (You figure that one out!) But here is the place where it all started. Click to find out And there is a symmetry to it all, as well. Many years ago I used to visit my friend Betsy Jenkins at 315 East Bay St., Charleston, which is 2 blocks from where I was born. And I always felt so comfortable there. Also, another weird coincidence is that I was born 2 blocks (in another direction) from WALL ST. in Charleston. Talk about "circle games"!! It all goes 'round, doesn't it? As Fred Ebb says: "The planet spins and the world goes 'round and 'round."

Richard it's great to see tax dollars and United Way doing something so positive with their money.
Unfortunately, I think Texas leads in teenage pregnancies and high school dropouts.
