Warning: this has NOTHING to do with any kind of diet or eating regimen. But it is perfectly delish and safe from salmonella (so usually associated with "correctly" made eggnog).
One Christmas a friend brought to my house:
1/2 gallon Haagen-Daez French Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Fifth of good Quality Bourbon whiskey
She melted the ice cream to liquid and poured it into the punch bowl.
She followed it with the bourbon. And sprinkled a little cinnamon on top.
And the rest is history: A Great Holiday Drink!!
