I lay awake all night worrying about the possibilities of dialysis and/or kidney transplant and about not knowing the results of my blood draw yesterday. Had I made a difference by heeding the warnings about potassium and phosphorous? I didn't get much sleep. I didn't want to say anything to anybody, but some good friends "knew" and they offered to be tested as a possible kidney donor for me. I have such wonderful, giving friends.
This morning my doctor calls to tell me that I have, by seriously limiting my potassium and phosphorous I have reduced their levels in my kidney BY HALF. And that's a good thing.
I have to just continue doing exactly what I am doing.
God Is Good, the Light is On.
