HOW MANY HAVE A MONTH NAMED FOR THEM?
Julius Caesar was born on this date in 100 B. C. He was a Roman writer, orator, politician, emperor and dictator. He once said, "I came, I saw, I conquered." He conquered many things, among them Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt. They had a son together and the child was born by cesarean section, and that's where the name for the medical procedure comes.
Julius was assassinated on March 15, 44 B. C. forever known as the Ides of March. And the month of July was named for him.
Many will remember the comedian Brother Dave Gardner in the '50's who said: "Hail, Caesar! and I say Hail yes!!" - get it?
