And he sang some songs, too: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine, The Death of Mother Jones, You are My Sunshine, Mexicali Rose, Back in the Saddle Again.
And he owned the California Angels, Golden West Broadcasting.
And the old cowboy is only person to have 5 Hollywood Walk of Fame stars.
He got out of the saddle and died on Oct 2, 1998.
