GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL WEST NORTH CAROLINA

I went to Winston-Salem, NC last night for a concert by the Governor's School West Chorus. One of my students, Emily Johnston, was featured soloist in the program.


I was truly amazed by the quality of the choral singing from high school students!!


Here is a video of "Funeral Ikos" by John Taverner, which they sang on the program. This is not them singing, but they were actually better than this beautiful recording.
