Chris Allen and Alan Lambert, the final finalists (at last)I am not a fan of "American Idol" - mainly because I know it's not an honest talent competition. It would only be truly honest if each contestant sang the same song. Then we could actually judge one singer from the other. Whatever. It's a very popular program and Adam is probably going to win. He also has much stage experience, having performed in professional companies of Broadway shows in Los Angeles.
That program glorifies all that is common, and it stomps on education, technique and style. There: I said it.

All of them singing the same song would be a lot like watching golf on the weekends(but I agree). The results would be different but the same ole same ole over and over is not good television. More and more kids get what they know about music at church because so many schools have little to offer in a music program.
