HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RICHARD WAGNER!!


Born on this date in 1813, Wagner is one of the true geniuses of opera.

He created the music dramas Tristan, Isolde, Lohengrin; and the Ring of the Niebelungen. He died Feb 13, 1883.
