Arlene Francis (1907-2001)
Actress and television personality, Arlene was a bon vivant for us all. She was witty, sophisticated and a wonderful interviewer. And she stuck with "What's My Line?" to the bitter end. I loved her.
I saw her live in 1967 at the Alvin Theatre in "Dinner At Eight" - and she was funny then, too.

I remember her and that show. Whoops! I'm telling on myself. There was a Bennett Surf? looking distinguished--somewhat like my grandfather. Then a Dorothy Killgallin? that seemed snooty like my grade school principle. Who was a fourth panelist?
Arlene always had a nice smile.
