Beloved Estelle Getty passed away early this morning in her Los Angeles home surrounded by friends and family. While everyone remembers her as Sophia Petrillo on "The Golden Girls", I also remember her on Broadway in "Torch Song Trilogy".
Estelle was a funny lady, but she will always live on thanks to re-runs.
